Founder’s Bio…

Steve A. Taylor founded SAT Business Consulting LLC (SATBC), a Tucson-based firm that has supported local and regional businesses since 2007. With over 17 years of experience in strategic consulting, startup development, and project management, he and his team have become a trusted resource for business owners navigating growth opportunities, transitions, and operational challenges.

His work includes guiding small and medium-sized businesses and organizations through complex transportation infrastructure projects, particularly in collaboration with entities such as the Regional Transportation Authority, the Pima Association of Governments, and the Tucson Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He focuses on helping businesses stay informed, resilient, and financially successful, especially when faced with external disruption.

Steve holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Northern Arizona University and an MBA from the University of Arizona. His early background in manufacturing, automation, and business development shaped a practical, results-oriented consulting approach that balances technical understanding with business strategy.

In addition to leading SATBC, Steve has co-founded several ventures—including SmallStart Ventures, The Antique Presidio, and Globetrotter Imports—reflecting his ongoing commitment to entrepreneurship and small business growth.

He has also contributed as an adjunct instructor in the University of Arizona’s Executive MBA program, helping rising professionals strengthen their strategic planning and marketing skills.

Known for his collaborative style, regional insight, and ability to translate strategy into action, Steve works with a network of experienced consultants to deliver custom solutions that meet the unique needs of each client—from early-stage startups to established businesses across Southern Arizona.
